Assessment Ethics Policy
What assessment can and cannot claim; no automated admission/hiring decisions; every report includes an appeal and error-correction procedure.
Every YTAA programme operates under written policies. Below is what each policy commits us to. Policies marked [In preparation] are being drafted with legal counsel; the current draft is available on request to partners and funders conducting due diligence.
What assessment can and cannot claim; no automated admission/hiring decisions; every report includes an appeal and error-correction procedure.
Rules for all staff, facilitators and mentors working with minors; screening, conduct, incident response.
Legal bases, parental consent, storage limits, DPIA before scaling. Minors' profiles are never transferred to universities or employers without explicit consent.
Recommendations are issued only with sufficient observed evidence; date, context, scope and limitations are always stated. (See: What makes a YTAA recommendation credible — Methodology.)
Related-party voting rules; transparent licensing between YTAA and the Nova Polis operating company; interested founders do not vote on related-party decisions.
The commitments we ask of — and offer to — universities, employers and programme partners: what partners contribute (real cases, mentoring, internships, feedback), and what sponsorship can never buy (access to individual data, preferred recommendations, control over research conclusions).
